you would enter johndoe here

- Reenter the password a second time
- Enter the real name of the account owner (optional)

That's it, you're done. Email sent to the new account can be read via a POP3 email client such as Outlook Express or via either of the webmail clients we have available (V-Webmail and SquirelMail). More details can be found in other FAQs in this topic area.
You can create as many or as few email accounts as you wish, all HostRocket accounts support the creation of an unlimited number of email addresses.
You can feel free to setup @yourdomain email accounts for friends, family members, co-workers etc however please keep in mind that as the account owner you are responsible for all outgoing email leaving your domain. If you give away email accounts too freely to those you do not know and trust and one of your account holders commits a Terms of Service violation such as sending unsolicited commercial email (aka UCE or "spam") your account could be terminated for the infraction. Enjoy the service however please use good common sense in who you distribute email accounts to (if you wish to provide email accounts to visitors as a feature of your web site consider using a third-party email service such as bigmailbox.com or everyone.net)
