How do I upload the files which make up my website?

To upload the files which make up your web site to your HostRocket account you will need to use one of the following:

- An FTP program
(ex: WS_FTP, CuteFTP)

- A web publishing program with file transfer capability
(ex: Microsoft Frontpage, Macromedia Dreamweaver MX)

- The File Manager in your HostRocket Control Panel

Each of these three options are reviewed in detail in other FAQs which can be found under this topic area as well as the "FTP & SSH", "Microsoft Frontpage" and "Control Panel Help" topic areas. For most purposes, your primary website's files should be uploaded into the public_html/ directory.
