What are my email settings?

If you are not the administrator of your hosting account:

You can locate your email settings through your webmail login. If you're not the administrator of the account, you'll have to ask the person administrating the account for the webmail link if you're not sure what it is. For some domains, the 'webmail' subdomain may redirect to the webmail login page (i.e. webmail.example.com).

Once logged into webmail, open the dropdown menu under your email address in the top right corner of the page, and select Configure Mail Client. Then, locate the Secure SSL/TLS Settings under the Mail Client Manual Settings section.

Please note, the mail client options in Configure Mail Client > Mail Client Automatic Configuration Scripts are determined by the developers of cPanel; we have no control over the options listed there. We recommend using the SSL manual settings. For more information, please see the cPanel documentation for this feature, found here.

If you are the administrator of your hosting account:

If you're on a greek-named or reseller server (ex. 'reseller16.hrwebservices.net' or 'zeus.hrwebservices.net'), mail settings can be located in the Email Accounts feature in your cPanel. If your mail is handed on a seperate mail server (ex. 'mailroom1.hostrocket.com'mail settings can be located in the Email Accounts in your mail administration area.

Once in Email Accounts, locate the email address you need the settings for, and select Set Up Mail ClientThen, locate the Secure SSL/TLS Settings under the Mail Client Manual Settings section.

For information on accessing either login, please see the following support articles:

If on a mailroom server, you can also locate your mail settings by entering your domain here (please note, this will not work for accounts on greek-named or reseller servers):
