To change the main domain on your account, you will first want to log in to the DirectAdmin control panel. You can find the link to your control panel under the "Manage Product" page in your HostRocket client area (https://support.hostrocket.com/clientarea.php/).
If you have a reseller account, once logged in you will want to use the dropdown menu in the upper right hand corner of the screen to switch from the `reseller` account level to the `user` level.
After switching to the `user` level (if you have a RocketFreedom or other shared account you can disregard the user level portion of this article) you will want to click on the "Domain Management" button.
Once this interface loads you will want to add your new domain to the account. After the domain has been added you will want to select the checkbox to the left of the domain name, and then click the "Set as default" option.
If your account is on rs1 or rs2 the newly added domain will have a DNS zone automatically created. If your account is on sh1 or sh2, please contact our shared hosting support team by submitting a ticket to [email protected] or from your HostRocket client area to request that a DNS zone be created for your new domain.
Please do not forget to include your 5 digit support pin in the body of your ticket.
As always, if you run into any issues while making these changes feel free to contact our support team for further assistance.
