How do I create an FTP account for a subdomain or an addon domain?

Setting an FTP account's 'Directory' would limit its access to just that specific directory, so if you wanted the FTP account to only access content in /home/username/public_html/addon-domain.com, then you would need to set that as the directory when creating the FTP account:

FTP subaccount: [email protected]
Directory: /home/username/public_html/addon-domain.com

Please refer to the 'How do I create a secondary FTP account?' article for more in depth information on creating FTP Accounts for specific directories.
