How Do I Get a Backup of My Website?

HostRocket makes no claim to have any backups of your website. You can take a full cPanel backup of your website by logging into your cPanel account and selecting "Backups". There are numerous options from there to generate different types of backups.

How to generate and download a full backup of your cPanel Account?
How to Download Backup of Home Directory, MySQL or E-mail Only?

You will want to be sure to download the generated backups to your local computer (or other remote locations) for safe keeping and to remove the backup from the server afterwards. Backups are not to be stored on the server as they will do you no good if there are server problems and you are unable to retrieve it.

We also recommend checking the contents of any backups that you have downloaded to ensure it contains all of the data that you require.

If you would like to purchase a remote backup of your website for $5 per backup, per cPanel account please open a ticket with Support.
